Aaron Johnston – CEO and Co-Founder

Aaron began his career in banking with Countrywide Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland and moved into online gaming in 2003 when he established Asia’s first live videostream casino platform in the Philippines for Bayview Technology in partnership with Playtech (UK:PTEC).

In 2005, after 2 years in Asia, he moved to Europe with Playtech, taking up the role of Commercial Director.  As Commercial Director Aaron’s leadership led to a large number of Europe’s leading brands either choosing, or switching to Playtech, including – William Hill, Ladbrokes, Bet365, Paddy Power/Betfair, Betfred and Sky.  He was also directly responsible for helping develop numerous tools and features assisting these major Licensees grow their businesses. Following 4 years as Commercial Director, Aaron spent 2 years working directly for Playtech’s largest shareholder concluding further gaming transactions before returning to Playtech as CEO of their subsidiaries Virtual Fusion / GTS.

In 2013, after 8 years with Playtech, Aaron joined operator William Hill (LSE:WMH) as Group Digital Operations Director.  William Hill is one of the world’s largest betting and gaming companies and one of the most trusted brands in the industry with 16,000 staff in 9 countries.  Reporting directly to the Group CEO, Aaron completed various projects within the Group, including a secondment to William Hill’s Australian business before leaving in 2014 to join Tom Hall and other industry veterans to found Voidbridge Software Limited, an innovative gaming software company focused on the Asia Pacific marketplace.

Aaron is extremely well known within the industry and was part of Gaming Intelligences 2012 Hot 50 Awards – “Aaron Johnson has performed a broad range of roles around Playtech and now heads up the GTS and Virtue Fusion subsidiaries. Over the past few years his role in developing the affiliate marketing capability in what is now known as PTTS has given him enormous understanding and experience in the industry.
